Redemption Original
"Redemption" is Victoria's painting for Easter, 2024. It is the story of two trees; a story of redemption. One tree sat in the garden of Eden, alive and holding life on its limbs, yet it ultimately brought death through Adam. The other tree was dead, and held death on its limbs, yet brought forth life through Jesus Christ. Though sin & death came through one tree, redemption and forgiveness comes from another. Pictured together they encompass the whole story of the Bible - the fall of man, and God's plan to work out a way for sinners to be reconciled back to Him. It's the most beautiful story ever told. As we celebrate Easter, we celebrate what God has done for us on our behalf. And by grace alone, through faith alone in Jesus, we are saved. We rejoice because death was defeated, sin no longer enslaves us, we are reconciled to God through Jesus' work on the cross, and our Redeemer lives!
